Its Friday afternoon and its dragging like mad,later today we're off to Pembury,Wales for a weekends testing with the NG club.The weather forecast is looking a bit iffy at the moment but its by the sea so no-one can predict it until the sky goes black and only then can the mad panic of fitting the wets begin!
I've deceided to flog the camper to release much needed funds but got to admit that its worth its weight in gold at this time of the year.The decision has'nt made me popular at home but when your addicted to road racing its not a problem.A nice transit van converted will be just dandy!.
The tyres I ordered on flea bay still hav'nt arrived so I'm hoping to sell a few bits a bobs at Pembury to cover a new back tyre.Will bring my sythoning tube incase we need diesel to get back.If some one had told me how much of your time and money this racing lark takes up,I would'nt have belived them ,but still have done it anyway!

As you can see by Helens expression its February and bloody freezing!all I need is the numbers made up and a nice big sponsor logo would be nice PLEASE.

Had a cracking day yesterday hooning around Brands Hatch with the Dayo Racing boys and Jon Leach,the sun was out and all was good with the world.
The bright weather gave me a chance to try out the on board camera which ended up with me in the gravel trap!It started by colliding with Josh on the outlap,then Ali's bike deceided to throw a chain guard at me just as we were tipping in to Clearways.It hit me on the shoulder and I had to pick the bike up and hope for the best,my off-road experience kicked in and I kept it upright,just!.The lap times came down to 54.10 but with the right gearing and a bit more balls over Paddock Hill 52 should be possible.Now the forks have been done its a lovely bike to ride and with good ear plugs you can hardly hear the mechanical torture of 18000 odd revs screaming up to the limiter.Feel really comfy on the bike now and can't wait for the season to start.

After spending all week like a kid waiting for Christmas the entries came through the letterbox on Saturday morning.Its quite stressfull filling them out,making sure everything is filled out right and not forgetting the all important SAE.With me being the impatient type who could'nt wait for or trust the postman I decided to deliver them by hand,picking Dazzers and Josh's forms on the way.We found Marions (the club secratary) no problem(she was a bit stunned we had travelled so far!)and had a lovely meal on the way back.It was great to catch up with the Dayo mob but I think Martin's gone mad with all the Dayo merchandise,I reckon he'll have a stall set up at Pembury.
Also I have a new toy,its an on board video camera for the bike.I just have to check with the club that its ok to film then we'll have footage of all the tracks and races.
